Asus finally started recruiting Android 11 Beta testers for ROG Phone 3

ROG Phone 3 users have been waiting for the Android 11 beta for a few days now. Today it looks like the company has officially started recruiting ROG Phone 3 users for the Android 11 beta test. Last month, Asus released a stable build for the ZenFone 6. ROG Phone 3 users can now access Android 11 features through an early beta test program. According to some users of the ROG Phone 3, the Android 11 beta testing program is available to users running the software version 17.0823.2012.122 or the latest stable version. The company recommends locking the phone’s home charger. If your device is running the latest software and the bootloader is locked, you can participate in the beta test program. As always, beta versions are not as stable as normal versions, so we don’t recommend loading them onto your headphones.

ROG Phone 3 receives the first major OS update via the beta program. If you want to participate in the beta test program, please make sure your ROG Phone 3 is working with software version 17.0823.2012.122. If your smartphone is running the latest version of the software, you can upgrade to Android 11 through the beta program. Here are some conditions you can check before you show up.

Requirements:

  • Make sure your phone is at least 30% charged before updating it.
  • Make a full backup of your data, in case of an error you may lose your data.
  • Please follow the instructions carefully so that you can update your phone without harming your health.

You can sign up for the beta program by following the steps below.

  1. First, go to the settings.
  2. Go to System > System Updates.
  3. Now click on the available gear icon in the top right corner.
  4. Then press the button Register for the Beta test program.
